Scheduling Treatments with Environmental Guidance

Spring starts on the same day every year, and around that time, the weather is generally the same. However, plants and the pests that infest them, are a bit more precise. They need conditions to be primed before they make their move each spring, and as a result, pest emergence varies a bit from year to year.

In 2018, “spring conditions” are lagging a bit and as such, we have strategically altered our Plant Health Care services schedule. As professionals, we are committed to providing the highest level of quality care and this adjustment of our processes allow us to stick true to our values.

At Arborscapes, we respond to the environment. Pest and disease development closely corresponds with environmental trends, including temperature weather patterns. Our models for tracking and predicting these trends show us that pest development is a few weeks behind what it was last year. We are modifying our approach to ensure that we are maximizing our effectiveness, maintaining control, and limiting harmful impact on the environment.

How Does This Affect You?

In short, it doesn’t. You may notice that we do not come out to complete treatments at the same time as we have in the past, but rest assured, this is by design. By letting the environment guide our schedule, instead of the calendar, we are achieving our goal in supporting the health and quality of your valued landscape.

Are There Any Other Changes?

As always, we put a place a great deal of importance on customer relations. Before we come service your property, we will get in touch by email a few days ahead of time, giving you ample time to expect us. In that email, in addition to the services being conducted, you’ll receive a short bio of your technician, as well as receive a courtesy reminder an hour or so before they arrive.

As you embark upon another great spring season, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all. We look forward to taking care of you and your plants as the season unfolds!
